I want to buy buy one of those laser pens that can light matches and pop balloons. What is the most powerful hand held green laser pen?
Also is there a legal limit in the UK as to how powerful one can be?

Is importing a 100mw green laser in India illegal?
I wanted to buy(import) a 100mw green laser in India
but my dad said that it may or may not be illegal to import lasers with such high power in India
I looked it up in Wikipedia and they say that it is illegal in US Australia Canada Holland
I did not find India in that list
I want to confirm that whether or not it is illegal in India ?
If it is can i import a red laser of that same power?

Green laser pops balloon through sunglasses!

I did an experiment with a red laser (about 630nm), a yellow laser (about 590 nm) and a green laser (about 530 nm).
What are the applications of each of these lasers’ specifically and what kind of applications do they have?
I can give you a couple of examples, but if these are not enough don’t worry about the 10 points. For the red laser they are typically used for pointing devices and to troubleshoot short length fiber optic cables. If the fiber cable has a break then you will be able to see the red laser light being emitted. They can also be used as military weapons (basically to blind people). All those wavelengths can be used as motion sensor detectors. Common applications of the green and yellow (and red) lasers are light displays such as the ones used at concerts. They are also used for cutting guides on circular saws and laser levels. Red mainly.
