please can some body help me, i have a problem with my ps3. It wont acknowledge any blue ray games put into it, such as, Uncharted, Buzz quiz tv and Dead space. But, it will acknowledge EVERYTIME fight night round 3. I have tried restoring my PS3 and this seems to have only made it worse, because before i would try putting in a game 10-20 times and eventually it would work and now it wont work at all but fight night round 3 still works everytime.
I have noticed that FNR3 is the only one WITHOUT trophies. Does anyone think that this is a coincidence or could it possibly be that one of the firmware updates may have damaged the ps3. (obviously i am running on the current version which is 2.76)
Has anyone else had a similar issues, or have any pointers i could try before i have to look into some sort of replacment. Also all these games are in excellent condition so there is no way its the discs themselves. I would say it was the laser but it seems to read FNR3 which is my oldest and most played game.
And while im here does anyone else have a problem with their ps3 web browser constantly freezing?
Any guidance would be appreciated!
if all else fails, try to backup your information on a separate hard drive and then reformat the ps3. it should be under system settings. i had the same problem this weekend. everything works fine now for me.

Every time I go online looking for a decent laser to do some optical/interferometric/prismatic trickery with, I discover that any laser with a decent coherence length is some high-dollar laboratory-style giant that I would have to sell a bunch of important organs to afford…
Bearing in mind that I am dirt poor, what are my options?
the best option is a HeNe (Helium Neon) laser, but will still cost you a few hundred bucks for a cheap one.
All laser pointers do not have enough of a collimated beam to do anything useful with.
I have a 35mw wicked laser for star pointing but was wondering is it ok to look a the beam directly not into it like pointing it at your eyes but. just the shaft of light going ionto the sky.
When i first got it the dot on a white wall was really bright and hurt my eyes a lil bit but viewing the beam it doesnt hurt at all.
Ive heard you can look at the beam but not proglonged time at the acutal dot.
You can certainly look at the beam from the side with no concern. BUT DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO IT! Or point it at someone. Your laser is powerful enough to cause immediate eye damage if looked directly into.
Just to give you a little bit of confidence, I work with 500 mW red lasers and 4-10W green lasers on a daily basis. That’s 10 to 100 times more powerful than your laser. And I look at the beams from the side all the time. But I would NEVER put my eyes anywhere close to those beams. Even putting a piece of paper in the 500 mW beams makes a spot much too bright to look at. (Putting a piece of paper in the green lasers would just burn a hole in the paper.) So as long as you view your laser from the side or behind, and never put the laser close to an eye (or a mirror) you will be fine. Be very careful where you point it!

A small laser used as a pointer produces a beam of red light 7 mm in diameter, and has a power output of 8 milliwatts. What is the magnitude of the electric field in the laser beam?
The intensity of the beam I = P/A = 8.0×10^-3W/(pi*r^2) = 8.0×10^-3/(pi*(3.5×10^-3)^2) = 208W/m^2
The intensity is also = Emax^2/(2*muo*c) so
Emax = sqrt(2*muo*c*I) = sqrt(2*4pix10^-7*3.0×10^8*208) = 396V/m

I saw this on Burn Notice and thought it was interesting.
Some can be disabled, others are just temporarily blinded.
Do you know where ALL the cameras are located? Do you have enough lasers to blind all of them, at the same time, without seeing you first?

I want to buy buy one of those laser pens that can light matches and pop balloons. What is the most powerful hand held green laser pen?
Also is there a legal limit in the UK as to how powerful one can be?
You can check out this company called SKYlasers. They offer a variety of laser pointers and powerful portable lasers that can light matches, pop balloons, etc…
I’ve asked their customer support if they ship to Canada. According to their reply, they ship pretty much worldwide to any country.
